BIOGRAPHY


BLACK was formed in 2006 by Guitarist Rich Garcia Jr, and Drummer Gregorio Jimenez Jr.
July of 2013 saw the release of the debut album "United States of War"... 2017 saw a few member departures...
with the addition of HABEAS CORPUS/MIND FURNACE Lead Vocalist: Don McMillan III in early 2019.
HABEAS CORPUS/ART OF CHAOS Guitarist Tom Jimenez was recruited to perform Bass Guitar
on "Untouched By Light" and record and mix the album in his home studio, Audio Edge Recordings of Sacramento.

During the recording phase the group asked Good Friend and POSSESSED Lead Guitarist Claudeous Creamer
to perform on the New tracks and is featured on all four final songs.
2020 saw the addition of History Channel music contributor and SLAVES OF MANHATTAN Lead Guitarist Austin Elkington.
"Untouched by Light" was released in April of 2020 Worldwide featuring 4 brand new songs.

The group moving forward in 2020 with shows booked in Sacramento and the Bay Area,
saw COVID-19 Lockdowns force the groups handful of shows to be cancelled.

.. 2021 saw the departure of Guitarist Rich Garcia Jr, and the addition of...
DEAD IN SECONDS, Rythym/Lead Guitarist, Erik Von Krauss.
March of 2023 saw the addition of PIERCED FROM WITHIN Guitarist Kelley Brown to perform Bass Guitar.

Following a Very productive year in 2023, which included the New Single Release "CONCRETE" in June of 2023...
and sharing the stage with artists HATRIOT, THE IRON MAIDENS and The BURNING WITCHES through various shows.
2024 Saw the group performing numerous shows throughout the West Coast and California
Including a Main Stage Performance at the Black Bomb Festival in Sonora...
The Band also shared the stage at various shows with EXMORTUS, THE ACCUSED and D.R.I.
Late 2024 saw the release of the long awaited E.P. "TORMENT BLEEDS INSIDE" Featuring 3 New Tracks.
The Group worked with "Shaumbra Art Visuals" from Brazil to complete two Lyric videos for tracks from the new EP.
November of 2024 saw the Departure and Retirement of Drummer Gregorio Jimenez.
We have alot of Great Memories that will live on and wish Gregorio Great success with his Artwork...
and projects in the coming Future.
The band soon Welcomed former "CULTURAL WARFARE, ANNIHILATION, ANGEL WITCH" Drummer Kenny Donovan.
The group Has Now returned to the stage with Kenny at a "Sold Out" Boardwalk in Orangevale this June.
BLACK is currently writing and rehearsing new material for a Winter of 2025 Release...
The Group will also be featured on "Imperative Music Label" Compilation #19 Featuring Main Artist "KERRY KING"
and also will be featured on "Sacra Metal Records" Compilation Due to Be released this Fall.
